According to the Shocker Toys forum there will be two more variations of the clear Maxx and SCUD, the two variations will be marked with differant packaging for Monster Mania. At the moment we havent see any pictures and dont know if it will be a complete new packaging or sticker similor to the old Ruby Red shockin’s.
The Monster mania exclusives probabably wont be available via the website so if you are lucky enough to be at the convention which takes place this month from March 13th – 15th make sure you pick a set up.

I honestly think just selling the regular figures would be a better move. Pretty much everyone who wanted the smoky versions has bought them. So what are the differences between these and the ones that were just shipped?
Though, to be fair, if I was going in person I would pick the exclusives up in a heartbeat. I’m really anxious to get my hands on some Indie Spotlight.

To me this is can great. I can keep the collector smokey edition in the package and get the painted one to take out of the package and pose! I can never have enough of my favorite characters.

Why would you open, play & pose an unpainted fig? I guess I’m missing something. =\ I kinda thought the point of the translucent variants was the “variant” collectible factor, if you remove it from the package it’s no longer a collectible…it’s just an unpainted or see-thru toy.

It will be intresting to see how much the clear ones go on ebay once they are sold out, I think once mine arrive they will probabably stay in the packaging, The painted ones ship at the end of the month whahoo.

True but I want to keep my painted Maxx in package. I am a bit off the cuff I guess. I think ebay prices will be crazy I have seen the Dethklok set going for upto $180. Also my local shop said they were shipping to stores in April/May but for pre-orders they ship end of this month. I think it is cool they are getting them in early for fans and it shows alot of support from a smaller company.
