    What’s “Amazong.com”? =)

Anyhow, I don’t know how hugly the popularity of these has picked up. The Amazon listings are just BBTS listings through Amazon. I still can’t just walk into a store and hope to find these.

It’s cool that these are just internt exclusives, but why do we all have to pretend that there not? If I knew that to begin with, I could have made better plans to get them. Now, I’m just screwed.

I would like to disagree with you there but as of yet none of the bigger high street stores have them. I think some local shops have had them in but they snook up on a lot of retailers and before you know it the first wave sold out.

I would love to know some more info about the second wave. I mean, if they are gonna be released in Toys R Us in June, sure we could hear how big of a release the wave is, or be told how widespread the distribution will be. Will they only be available in TRU in NY, Chicago and other big cities? Or will they be available nationwide? Seeing as how June is only 8 days away, surely the knowledge of how big the production run is should be readily available and would help alot.

I mean, do I need to plan a side trip to TRU to get one, on of my regular trips to Chicago, or can I just go to my local TRU at my leisure? The definitive answer thread didn’t really give any “definitive” answers. I’m not an action figure collector and I don’t frequent TRU.

I don’t think most companies will give out actual production numbers, but yeah giving some info on availability seems like a reasonable request. An idea of when and where would be nice!

All we know is they will ship out to stores that have orderd in June, I dont even know if Shocker Toys will knwo exactly which stores and how much to each as it is going through ditributors.
I am hoping someof the local shops int he UK might have them but to make sure I will proabably pre order another set from BBTS

If they don’t even know how many have been ordered how would they know how many to order to be produced?

WTF? I mean, the whole situation is weird IMO. I’m not saying they should give exact numbers, that’s silly. But a little detail on the size of the release would be nice. Is it a nation wide release in all Toys R Us stores? Is it only in select markets? It it only in the few FLCS that ordered the figs?

I mean, we keep hearing that they are gonna be in Toys R Us and the second wave is coming in June…but that’s it. I mean, that’s pretty vague for something so big and less than a month away. For a company that is supposed to be so transparent, getting information from them feels like pulling teeth sometimes!

you just have to ask your TRU store, give them a call and see what they say

I asked at 2 toysrus stores before and they looked at me like I’m stupid. They checked the computers or claim they were looking, the screen didn’t face me, and said they couldn’t find any listing of Indie Spotlight, Shocker Toys, or Maxx or Scud or Shadowhawk. Some squirt gun or something came up close to Shadowhawk but I told her it was a action figure.

I guess I’ll ask again the next time I get to one, and look stupid again.

Man, I’d love it if Geoff went off on Toysrus like he did on the comic shops after they screwed him because it looks like the Toysrus are screwing him! Why won’t they order the product!

The best thing I can recommend for you guys, is ask these questions at the Shocker Toys forums. Their admin tend to answer fan’s questions a lot over there. And usually in very reasonable time. That would be your best bet.

But to try to help out the best that I can…

At the Shocker Toy website, they’ve said that they will be available at Toys R Us stores and more. I imagine that Shocker Toys, does not know which stores or how many each store will get, as they use a distribution company who sends the figures out to Toys R Us.

As far as saying online exclusives… they’re not. Shocker Toys has said that they will be in retail stores. Just because they didn’t get them into retails stores with their first shipment, I wouldn’t jump to the conclusion of calling them Online Exclusives. Shocker Toys had to fulfill pre-orders with their first shipment of IS1. Which they did. And they’ve said that the 2nd shipment comes in June (that’s the 2nd shipment of IS1 coming in June, not IS wave 2). The 2nd shipment of IS1 will be used to get the figures out there at retail. So hang in there. IS1 should be hitting retail soon.

As for you being screwed out of the figures… I don’t know what to say man. They’ve been up for pre-order for months now. Just because you didn’t get your figures from the first batch, doesn’t mean you’re screwed. There’s plenty more of wave 1 on the way, both retail and online. I’d suggest maybe don’t rely solely on finding them at retail. That’s never a sure thing. Someone else could beat ya to them. There’s plenty of ways to guarantee yourself to get wave 1 right now through pre-orders.

We’re all really eager to see & hear more about wave 2. But hang in there. It’s getting close. And Shocker Toys is never shy about communicating with their fans. So I’m sure we’ll get more info soon.

Be sure not to get the 2nd shipment of IS1 mixed up with IS2. IS wave 1 has had one shipment so far. The 2nd shipment of IS1 is what’s coming in June. IS wave 2 doesn’t come for a few more months now.

As far as distribution details, don’t be surprised if you never see the specifics about that. They use another company for distribution. But feel free to ask Shocker Toys themselves. If they tell you anything specific about where the figures will be, I’m sure we’d all love to know.

As always if the info here at ISN isn’t enough, feel free to go to the Shocker Toys website and ask around there. They’re really good about dealing with their fans. And that’s where pretty much all of our news comes from anyways. So when it’s posted over there, we’ll be sure to update everyone here as well.

I don’t think that Shocker Toys will have this info, but feel free to ask them. Since they use a distributor I don’t think that Shocker Toys get the specifics that you’re looking for. I doubt that they know if the figures will be available near your town. That’s something that the distributors take care of.

I think it’s kind of like this-
Distributor orders XXXX amount of figures from Shocker Toys.
Shocker Toys fills that order and sends the figures to the Distributor.
Distributor sends them out to stores (not Shocker Toys).
I imagine the only info that Shocker Toys gets, is how many figures to send to the Distributor.

Maybe I’m wrong though. I don’t know. Ask them for the details if you’d like.

I’m sure they know how many have been ordered. They just wouldn’t know where their final destination will be. They get figures ordered from the Distributor, they send that amount of figures to the distributor. From there it’s out of Shocker Toys hands. The distributor takes care of the rest.

As far as knowing how many to produce, that’s something that’s decided way in advance. Shocker Toys decides how many figures to make to begin with. Then people start ordering them. Not the other way around. They can always go back and make more of a figure if need be.

Again, about the details of where Exactly the figures will go…. I don’t know. I don’t even know that Shocker Toys knows the answer to that. Feel free to ask them though. But I’m guessing that info known by the Distributor, not Shocker Toys.

As far as Shocker Toys has announced, yes… the 2nd SHIPMENT of IS1 is coming in June. Not wave 2. Maybe we’re both meaning the same thing. I just don’t want people getting the idea here, that IS2 is coming in June. That is not the case. The 2nd portion of IS1 is coming in June. As for getting the info from Shocker Toys about where the figures will be distributed, I think you’re barking up the wrong tree there. That’s info from the Distributors that you’re looking for, not Shocker Toys. But as always, feel free to ask them. We’d all love to hear what the response is.

You feel you look stupid for asking a store to check on a product? :/ Ok.
Personally I wouldn’t feel stupid just for asking. But anyways… do what you must. ToyRUs probably doesn’t have them in their system yet because they haven’t even been shipped to Toys R Us stores yet. If you’re dead set on getting them from Toys R Us, give it some more time. Personally I’d get them online. They’d be in your hands already.

Do you mind if I ask why buying them at Toys R Us seems so important to you?
It sounds like hitting up a Toys R Us is a bit of a hassle for you. You say that you look stupid for asking them about product… so why don’t you just get the figures online if you want them this badly? You seem to be having bad experiences with Toys R Us, and appear to be taking it out here on Shocker Toys now, as if it’s ST fault that TRU didn’t give you any info that you were looking for.

It just seems to me that you could have a much smoother time getting these figures online opposed to relying on getting them at your TRU stores.

To address the comment Toy R Us are screwing him, what gives you that idea? Just because you weren’t able to find any info about them at the 2 stores you checked? Shocker Toys has said from the beginning that not all Toys R Us stores may stock the Indie Spotlight toy line. I’m sure their deal with Toys R Us is going just as planned, or they wouldn’t be dealing with them.

Hey worldwarhu, some of us can’t order online becuase we don’t have credit cards! Who are you to judge me like you are? I haven’t said one bad thing about SHocker Toys and I NEVER would! Stop putting words in my mouth! You don’t have to put down other guys who are Geoff’s big fans to make yourself his number 1 fan! Toysrus is screwing Geoff they don’t have a computer listing for something that is coming out next month! The store next to me doesn’t have to have it for the computer to have it they are all connected! Its called the interenet! Maybe you’ve heard of it? I am being patient. I just wish the info was better. If I was told REAL info that I could only order them from Shocker or BBTS, then I wouldn’t have placed an order with the wrong store! I can’t get the credit card again! I’m not stupid! But they look at me like I am when I ask for stuff they don’t have! Everyone posts stuff like they know stuff and I believed it and now I am screwed if toysrus doesn’t get them!

Wow, dude. Calm down man! I didn’t judge you. I didn’t put words in your mouth. I never put you down. I never called you stupid. You said it yourself that you “felt stupid” for asking TRU a question. I simply asked why getting the figures at TRU was so important to you, when they’re currently so much more easily available online right now.

TRU isn’t screwing anyone because they don’t have Indie Spotlight in their system yet. They haven’t received any figures yet, why would it be in their system? Just because ST receives their 2nd shipment with-in the next month, doesn’t mean that TRU will be selling them by the next month. ST has to receive the figures, and send them out still. Then TRU needs to receive and process everything. I’m sure there’s still more than a month wait before expecting to see them on the shelf at TRU.

I wish ya the best of luck finding them at TRU, I really do. All I’m saying is that if you don’t find them there, Don’t give up hope. Don’t feel screwed, because there’s still ways to get them. You don’t need to have a “Real” Credit Card from a bank, to shop online. You can go to a lot of stores to purchase those pre-paid credit cards. They function exactly like a normal credit card. So no matter what happens with TRU there’s always a way to get the figures. Not having a Credit Card is a thing of the past man. There’s ways around it these days.

Sorry if you felt like I was attacking you man. That’s not the case at all. I’m just trying to explain to a fellow fan, that you’re looking for information that I don’t think Shocker Toys has for you. There’s no need to feel screwed out of the toys. TRU is not your only option to get the figures.

So…any word on when IS1 shipment #2 when be in America? When they will be in TRU or when anyone will be able to walk into a toy store or FLCS and buy one?

There’s only 9 days left in June, surely there is some knowledge about when this shipment will drop. Has it left China? Is it on its way? Will they be in Toys R Us like was said?
